 Teaching Experience 

Here is my relevant teaching experience, including the placements I have completed and the accomplishments I have achieved in each setting. These experiences have allowed me to develop my instructional skills, classroom management strategies, and ability to create engaging learning environments.

Field Experience
(Grade 1)
Gray Elementary School

- Gained hands-on experience in an integrated classroom setting, working with
students with IEPs, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and ADD
- Collaborated with the partner teacher and EIP teacher to implement IEP
accommodations and modifications, including differentiated instruction, small-
group support, and behavioral scaffolds
- Planned and implemented a two-week integrated mini unit that connected Social
Studies and ELA through developmentally appropriate, standards-aligned
instruction
- Designed and taught daily small-group instruction focused on reading
comprehension, phonics, and foundational literacy skills
- Conducted an in-depth school and classroom research report, analyzing student
demographics, instructional practices, classroom culture, and support services to
inform instruction
- Supported classroom instruction during pre-planning, assisting with lesson
preparation, material organization, and instructional setup

Field Experience (Pre-K)
Jones Country Pre-k

- Planned and implemented a five-day integrated unit for Pre-K development standards
- Created a play center that promoted creativity and explored dental hygiene

- Composed a song about shapes and implemented a whole group music lesson
- Collaborated with partner teacher to assume routine classroom responsibilities

Field Experience (Grade 4)
Gray Elementary School

- Planned and implemented three developmental experiences that fostered student’s gross and fine motor skills
- Planned and implemented an original interactive read-aloud lesson to support students’ vocabulary and comprehension skills
- Taught a daily small group focused on improving students’ comprehension skills

Field Experience (Grade 1)
Lakeview Primary School

- Observed student and teacher interaction and developed a summary of student’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive levels
- Taught a daily small group focused on improving students’ letter recognition and handwriting skills
- Collaborated with partner teacher to maintain classroom expectations
