 My Teaching Philosophy

I believe...

that students learn best through experience, reflection, and meaningful discussion with their peers. My teaching philosophy is rooted in the Experiential Learning Theory, as I strive to create opportunities for students to actively engage with content, make connections, and construct understanding through hands-on experiences. I value holistic learning and intentionally incorporate art, music, and movement to support the development of the whole child. I view mistakes as essential to the learning process and encourage a classroom culture where students feel safe to take risks, share their thinking, and grow from missteps. By fostering an inclusive and respectful environment, I aim to ensure that every student feels valued and comfortable contributing their ideas, knowing that their voice matters in our shared learning journey.
